1. Recipe

Grilled Trout

Difficulty: Easy

Preparation Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 trout, cleaned
  • 2 tablespoons of Old Czech Fish Spice
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Season the fish with salt, pepper, and coat with Old Czech Fish Spice on both sides.
  3. Place several slices of lemon in the belly cavity of each trout.
  4. Coat the trout with olive oil and place on the grill.
  5. Grill each side for about 6-8 minutes, or until the fish is well cooked and the skin is crispy.

2. Recipe

Traditional Czech Carp

Difficulty: Medium

Preparation Time: 1 hour and 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole carp, cleaned
  • 3 tablespoons of Old Czech Fish Spice
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Herbs for garnish (e.g., parsley)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Season the carp inside and out with salt and pepper.
  3. Coat the outside of the fish with Old Czech Fish Spice and place lemon slices in the belly cavity.
  4. Place the carp in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and bake in the oven for 60 minutes, or until the fish is tender and juicy.
  5. Garnish the baked carp with herbs and serve immediately.

After delivery, we recommend you transfer the spices into a spice jar or a sealable container to maintain their quality. This option is recommended for replenishing home supplies.

Gift Packaging (doypack):

We will send the spices to you in a gift resealable doypack bag with a clear window. The bag looks very nice, and your spices will stay fresh and fragrant for a long time. The bag can be refilled repeatedly. Choose this option if you do not have other sealable storage for spices or if you wish to give it as a gift.
