1. Recipe

Harissa Chicken Skewers

Difficulty: medium

Preparation time: 45 minutes + marinating

Ingredients:

  • 500 g chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Harissa spice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix Harissa spice, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the cut chicken breasts and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Alternately thread chicken and bell pepper pieces onto skewers.
  4. Grill over medium-high heat until chicken is well cooked and has a nice crispy skin, usually 15-20 minutes.
  5. Serve warm, optionally with a fresh salad.

2. Recipe

Marinated Eggplant Steaks

Difficulty: easy

Preparation time: 30 minutes + marinating

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium eggplants, cut into 1cm thick slices
  • 1 tablespoon Harissa spice
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

  1. In a small bowl, mix Harissa spice, olive oil, and crushed garlic.
  2. Brush the eggplant slices with the marinade and let rest for 20 minutes.
  3. Grill on a preheated grill over medium heat until eggplant is soft and has grill marks, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.

We will send the spices to you in a gift resealable doypack bag with a clear window. The bag looks very nice, and your spices will stay fresh and fragrant for a long time. The bag can be refilled repeatedly. Choose this option if you do not have other sealable storage for spices or if you wish to give it as a gift.
