Homemade Herb Butter
Difficulty: Easy
Preparation Time: 10 minutes + setting time
Ingredients:
- 250 g unsalted butter, softened
- 3 teaspoons herb butter seasoning mix
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed (optional)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional)
Method:
- In a bowl, first mix the softened butter with the herb butter seasoning mix.
- Add crushed garlic and lemon juice to enhance the flavor, if using.
- Taste and add salt as needed and to your liking.
- If available, use a dough scraper or spoon to ensure the herbs and any additional ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the butter.
- Transfer the mixture onto a piece of baking paper or into plastic wrap.
- Form the butter mixture into a roll, wrap tightly, and place in the refrigerator until set, or use immediately.
This herb butter is excellent on pastries, grilled meat, fish, or as a seasoning for cooked vegetables.

Herb Butter Baked Potatoes

Preparation Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, well washed
- 4 tablespoons of herb butter
- Herb butter seasoning mix
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Prick each potato several times with a fork and brush with olive oil.
- Season the potatoes with the herb butter seasoning mix, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the potatoes are soft.
- Cut the top off each potato and press in the herb butter.
- Serve immediately while the potatoes are hot and the butter is melting.

Grilled Chicken Breast with Herb Butter
Difficulty: Medium
Preparation Time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons of herb butter
- Herb butter seasoning mix
- Olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method:
- Let the chicken breasts come to room temperature.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season both sides with the herb butter seasoning mix, salt, and pepper.
- Grill the breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Just before removing from the grill, place a piece of herb butter on each serving and let it melt for a while.
- Transfer to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite side dish.

We will send the spices to you in a gift resealable doypack bag with a clear window. The bag looks very nice, and your spices will stay fresh and fragrant for a long time. The bag can be refilled repeatedly. Choose this option if you do not have other sealable storage for spices or if you wish to give it as a gift.
