Ceylon cinnamon, also known as "true cinnamon", is characterized by a milder, sweeter flavor and aroma that is ideal for delicate desserts and beverages. In contrast, Chinese cinnamon, also known as cassia cinnamon, brings a more flavourful, pungent and intense aroma, making it suitable for spicy and strong dishes. An important distinguishing factor is the coumarin content, naturally occurring in cinnamon. While Chinese cinnamon may contain higher levels of this substance, which in excess can be harmful to the liver, Ceylon cinnamon is considered a safer choice with minimal coumarin content. Ceylon cinnamon is therefore the first choice for families with children.

2 PACKAGING OPTIONS:

Economic (measuring cups):

We will pour the spices into a paper bag for you, as if you were buying spices at the market. The bag will be labeled with the name of the spice. After delivery, we recommend transferring your spices into a spice jar or resealable container to maintain their quality. This option is recommended for replenishing home supplies.

Gift packaging (doypack):

We will send you the spices in a gift resealable doypack bag with a transparent window. The bag looks very nice, and it will keep your spices fresh and fragrant for a long time. The bag can be refilled repeatedly. Choose this option if you don't have other resealable storage for spices or if you want to give it as a gift.
