Recipe for Spice Mix with Ground Chili

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons ground chili
  • 1 tablespoon ground paprika (ideally smoked)
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion (flakes or powder)
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander (optional for a milder flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions:

  1. Preparation of the spices: If you are using whole herbs or spices, such as cumin or black pepper, you can crush or grind them into a finer powder.

The bag can be refilled repeatedly. Choose this option if you don't have other resealable storage for spices or if you want to give it as a gift.
